Royal College of Arms Damaged by Fire

The Royal College of Arms, a central London institution which houses the "coats of arms and pedigrees of English, Welsh, Northern Irish and Commonwealth families and their descendants," along with related genealogical materials, was badly damaged by fire on Thursday morning, but none of the historic documents or library materials kept at the College are believed to have been damaged in the blaze. There were no injuries.
